Is this the first time they have been seeded in a GS?

Think they were 16th seeds at Wimbledon, and may have been seeded for the French Open as well.

Pretty good draw for the first couple of rounds and should really be looking to make round three, even with them being out of form.

They're going to be fifth on Court 15 tonight

LOL our Davis Cup nemeses Peya and Stakhovsky have teamed up, lucky they didn;t draw them!

Just had a look at GGL and Rochus's doubles records this year...

GGL has only won two matches, while Rochus has lost all eight (and in total is on a 11 match losing streak)

That said, H and H have lost 11 out of 12, but this should be a match that they should win.

I'm almost too disappointed to post this:  6-2 4-6 4-6 (Huss broken in each of the next two sets)! blehfrustrated.gif

What a pity. They do seem to have gone off a little recently. Maye Ross should look at a change of partner. I wonder if he and Jamie M would ever consider hooking up together.

Oh dear....

Think the partnership needs to take a break for a while as it is just not working at the moment, and they are losing matches that they shouldn't be getting close to defeat in.

Maybe join up again later on if things don't work out with new partners for them, but a change of scenery can only help them at the moment.

Don't see him hooking up with Murray for a while at least as their rankings are so far apart that it wouldn't be worth doing it unless Hutchins dropped down to challengers, but if Murray gets back to the top 80 or so, then maybe they might consider it.

Dreadful result after such a promising 1st set.disbelief How can things go so badly wrong?no Can't see them lasting much longer unless things change for the better and rapidly. Does a touch of complacency set in which is then difficult to shrug off, or are we expecting too much and around a ranking of 30+ is Ross' peak?
