Worth posting the rest of the report on the site, I think:
Nella seconda partita invece Fabbiano e Pashanski recuperano energie e concentrazione e riescono a rimettere in parità l'incontro vincendo 6 a 4.
In the second set, however, Fabbiano and Pashanski rediscovered their energy and concentration and managed to level the match by taking it 6-4. The Englishmen opened up a considerable lead of 4-1 at the beginning of the tie-break. That was reduced and [then] reversedat 7-6 to the Italian/Serb pair, who seemed [poised] to win the match. At that point the errors made by Pashanski were decisive, handing victory to Auckland and Marray by 10 points to 8.
Well done, lads. Looks as though you have a day off before you take on the Italian fourth seeds, Crugnola & Motti. Good luck!

If perchance Aucks & Jonny get past the fourth seeds in tomorrow's SF - & pray God that they do! - the third seeds, Treat Conrad (*rolls eyes*) Huey & Harsh Mankad ((PHI/IND), lie in wait in the final (on Sunday?).
A great start to the day, courtesy of Jamie, but it now seems to be crashing & burning! Here's hoping Col can do the business at the Cumberland Club...
