Rain prevented at the quarters from being finished but an all-GB final looks likely.

Rae is 5-1 up and dominating. Struggled to hold serve at first but was in full control when the rain came.

Windley - Vickers was only just started at 1-1

Anna Fitzpatrick's match was see-saw. She leads 6-4, 5-4* atm.

The first game went on for ever, Fleming started at the same time and was already 4-1 up before Anna finally clinched it. She then raced to 4-0 as her Brazilian opponent sprayed forehands wildly. Anna really struggled to hold serve and lost 1 break but served for it at 5-3, got broken then broke for the set. After rain her opponent raced to a 4-1 2nd set lead but Anna had just reeled off 4 straight games when the rain came once more.

Anna is the more offensive in the rallies, looking to dictate and that's the reason why she should win but her game is still not quite at the level which took her to the edge of top 300.

It looks like she's still being coached by the guy who runs the Monte Carlo tennis academy. He also seems to be working with Jade Windley but I may have that wrong

Thanks for the reports Sheddie, I hope the rain wasn't too frustrating (or the schedule and the spread out courts)

Good effort from Lisa! No doubt Anna will be dissapointed - Joss is too strong for this level IMO. She needs to get up into 25ks and catch up Laura, Tara and the other teens.
