Thats bloody awesome! It was a big enough shock that she could even be playing yet alone winning here. Her next match looks winnable too tbh! Good luck Laura
The 25-year-old Hungarian has played in three USOs but has never got past R1 and hasn't qualified for a slam since the 2005 AO, where she failed to match her best-ever slam performance of reaching the last 16 there in 2004. Her career high was 44 in May 2004.
Her coach and father is Attila the Hun(garian) and against Brits, she lost 5-2 ret. to Anne K last year, beat Natasha Khan 3 & 2 in 2007, beat Mel South in 3 sets in 2006, lost to Katie in 3 sets in 2006 and beat Anne in 2005.
It should be a close match, I think and since under the WTA ranking system, for some reason the increment for winning a second match in qualifying is only 10 (c.f. 40 for winning your first match), there isn't quite so much at stake, apart from the chance to play for a place in the main draw obviously!

I wouldn't be suprised if she was playing for the same amount of points in the second round than in the first round (e.g. nothing).
