RE: Week 31 Challenger - Vancouver ($100k) - Canada - hard

Sorry about that everyone ashamed ... would love to just follow the tennis ciruit but I gots to work sometimes .. haha!  Will be all over Binghampton next week.  May try to get there on Monday now, depends if Flembo gets thru qualies and when Flemski play first match.  Flembo going to give singles qualies a go (physio says it won't make the shoulder injury worse at this point but he's got to rest it & get taken proper care of when he gets back to the UK).

Twitter disappointing but at least they give the result in the end and it's all good. Well done Boggo. Injured? Well, overcoming it brilliantly.

Good man, good man.

Shame this type of thing didn't happen more often during the rest of the year of course but then again, most of us say that.

I use the term 'most' loosely of course and I apologise for the generalisation but these results of late have been much better from Boggo of late.

Well done Boggo! smile.gif 16 more points, 33 for the week so far! He can't regain the GB no. 2 spot this week by winning one more match, but if he did Wardy, Josh and Boggo would all be within 4 points of each other just outside the top 200. Then again, Alex will probably have to face Baggy next, so it's not time to count any chickens!

it will be baggy after at 63 57 75 win. quite tight. if alex is ok, and going into to the match witha 1-0 h2h advantage over baggy who knows smile.gif

still its been a good couple of weeks for alex. i haven't heard any specifics regarding the injury after this match but i know he was still feeling some soreness prior to it. hopefully a straights sets win will have helped (or not hindered too much) and i am sure he will be well up for this next match.

typical boggo style tho, playing himself back into JL's mind.

It's nice to see Boggo winning comfortably for once this week although not as exciting as saving match points to win.

Been a very good week for him so far, especially if he is still feeling the effects of injury, and not beyond the realms of possibility he could go further given Baghdatis isn't at his best.

Be surprised if Boggo won, but he does seem to play his best as the underdog, so it could happen.

Details of Boggo's H2H v Baggy:

2000 French Riviera International Junior Open 32 Clay (O) M.BAGHDATIS 2-6 6-4 4-6
2005 Nottingham Challenger 2 SF Grass (I) A.BOGDANOVIC 6-2 2-0 RET

So their first meeting was in juniors on clay, their second was a retirement on grass. LOL

really good for Alex i hope if Lloydy comes calling that he says No! After all the negative publicity. think He should not play Davis cup for awhile. Let Lloyds favouritive Eaton play. let us see how he fails miserably against Poland

Eaton isn't Lloyd's favourite - he even left him out of the play-offs for a crocked Jamie Baker!
