Another win to add to their collection. Anderson and De Voest up next. 1st and 3rd seeds already out, just need the Rati-Thais to go and I'll breathe more easily.
I'm not holding out much hope for a Boggo victory tonight, he must have been really injured to only beat Sisling, who I've watched play three matches and not impress me in the slightest, 7-5 in the third.
This is taking a long time, finally some news on Boggo Apologize on the Jenkins/Bogd. 3rd set and it's dark. Really dark. Like too dark to play, but they're still playin
Not sure whether having to start again will help or hinder Boggo with regards to his injury, but hopefully having a rest before going back for one set today will enable him to be at his best.
Great effort from him to win the tiebreak and Boggo has started to come out on top in these close matches recently, so whatever he is doing is working (and the last time he won a long tiebreak like that he won the title in Granby, so maybe a good omen.)
Either way, it can't be too good for Jenkins having wasted all those chances as he'll have to spend all night thinking about how many chances he missed, but if they had carried on, he may have been so distraught (and mentally he isn't the most stable anyway) that he'd have self-destructed.
If Boggo can win, he gets Bubka, who beat Matosevic in a 3rd set tiebreak, so the draw is opening up for Boggo if he is fit enough to take advantage of it.
[...] just need the Rati-Thais to go and I'll breathe more easily.
You can now do just that: they were beaten 4-6 6-4 [7-10] by Ball & Bubka "overnight", which means that Col & Ken are the only seeds left in the competition...
Boggo's match resumes on Court 1 today after a women's singles, which kicks off at 19.00 BST, & Im vs Smyczek & will be followed by Flemski vs Anderson & de Voest.
