Really sorry about the Bloomers result. Had high hopes for him this week... Very well done, Morgan & Alex. Nice to see them winning on home soil! Today's results mean that Klec is the only seed left in the competition. I hope that's the kiss of death...
We probably expected two of the three to make the semi finals so we can't be too disappointed, but I presume we all imagined that Bloomers would be one of them.
Decent first week back for him... just got to build on it now and put the results together to get his ranking back up, and hopefully in a few weeks he'll be easily winning against the likes of Brezac.
At least we have a finalist again though (seems as if it's not so long ago we would maybe get one quarter finalist in these events... now we are getting a different finalist each week... and yet some people think British tennis has never been worse...) after two great wins for Morgan and Alex.
Already been an excellent week for them both, but would favour Morgan to get to the final the way his results have been going this week. Probably would be better for him to get the win as it would help him get towards the top 500 where he should be ranked, and once he's getting entry and seedings each week, who knows what he could do.

It depends how you look at it. On the downside, come Monday we will only have Muzza inside the top 200 (unless Boggo wins Vancouver) and we are likely to hit an all time low in the number of men in the top 500 in the near future. On the upside, we seem to have a better bunch of teenagers than for quite some time, so with luck we'll have quite a few players in the top 500/200 within a couple of years.

I agree with you and Alex that Morgan is the more likely winner, though I expect it to be close. Time's not on Morgan's side either thanks to that horrible knee injury, so I'd rather he won for that reason, whereas even if he goes out in the semis, the Wardinator will continue his steady progress and he still has a fair bit of time on his side.
Both players are well placed to make further progress - apart from 2 points which Alex has coming off at the start of October, neither of them have any points to defend until next February!

One doubles semi-final settled & the Froggie third seeds have bitten the dust, beaten 6-1 4-6 [9-11] by our very own (& unseeded!) Chris Eaton & Jamie B! Just need Tim & Dom to come through in the bottom half of the draw now!

I shall be , too. Another good week at the Futures level with finalists in the singles and the doubles. I'm so pleased to see Morgan back to winning ways, Alex seems to have the bit between his teeth and is cantering through rounds, just a shame Bloomers' valiant effort was to no avail this time. T & D we await your win, the Irish lads.
It's good to see the LTA covering this quite well, with some ok reports and results of the GB singles matches coming through on Twitter very soon after they happened today. It took the edge off missing Josh's update a bit, though I'm sure we all still missed them a lot!
Those of you who like this sort of thing might like to try to spot the five (!) errors in this short passage from the report (typo-type errors count):
"It could be an all British final if Timothy Bradshaw & Mathew Inglot can overcome the Irish pairing of James McGee & Colin OBrien.
Amanda Carrerras is through to the doubles final at the $10k event in Vienna with Austrian partner Rapheala Zotter. They were given a walk-over by the number one seeded pairing of Lucie Kriegsmannana (CZE) & Simon Dobra (CZE)."
I should add that I'd rather they wrote a report in a hurry with a few minor errors than no report at all, so this isn't meant to be a dig at them!

1. Dominic Inglot (Not Matthew) 2. Colin O'Brien (apostrophe missing) 3. Amanda Carreras (3 'r's' instead of 4) 4. Raphaela Zotter (a & e wrong way round) 5. Lucie Kriegsmannova (Not even close with that one) 6. Simona Dobra (Likelihood is that 'Simon' is a female)
Which one didn't you spot Steven?

Well done! I let them off the missing apostrophe!

Please don't criticise LTA for a few mistakes I was just thinking how quick and improved their reporting was this week even from other events when Andy was not playing, especially the Boggo report I was well impressed.
