GSM Flemski 7-6(10), 3-6, 12-10

You can always rely on Flemski saving the week, even if this one made us sweat a bit. clap.gif Hope they can go all the way this week and break their final curse.

The courts must be fairly slow what with the Anderson v Evans break fest yesterday and five breaks in the Flemski match today, and the amount of mini-breaks in the MTB.

remember flembo hits a lot of their aces though and his shoulder is still not 'right'

hopefully a rest day before next round should mean they're firing on all cylinders again.

We're baaack - seriously, Granby Tennis Club is challenging for wireless internet connection!  Well, if u think it's exciting watching on the scoreboard, try being there!  The boys didn't play badly from 8-2 up, Bubka & Matsui put together an unbelievable string of points.  When Flemski were down 8-9, Ken hit a series of clutch forehands, finishing with a beauty right between the other pair ... and the rest is history!  Think we'll start calling them the MTB Twins!  Colin's shoulder is still not 100%, however, he was able to play well within himself when serving.  Great job boys!

BTW wolf, "Flemski" caps are now available and I was wearing mine during the match  ... weirdly enough ... I removed it at around 8-2 up because it was cloudy and then I put it back at around 8-9 ... and I'm not joking!  They are supposed to play around the same time tomorrow, so you better believe I'll be wearing it the whole match .... especially since they're playing a Canadian pairing.

I'm find it amazing that they are using the nickname Flemski themselves now, was that not invented on this board during the whole Ken and Phelgm fiasco?

Had been thinking that myself.  No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I was the first to use it because I was so repulsed by the "Ken & the (*cringe*) Phlegm" nickname...

We've been discussing this on JM.org, it turns out that I actually used it on AM.com during Jersey November last year, but i didn't join BT.net until March this year...maybe it was invented twice separately...
