After being a double break up in the first, this really is a poor loss

Anderson isn't that great a player with an over-inflated ranking as most of his points are due to come off within the year.

Unlucky

K. Anderson def. D. Evans 7-5 6-7(6) 7-6(3)

Good battling towards the end of the match by Dan, and hopefully this experience will help him improve in the future.  Hopefully he can get into ATP Washington qualies and see if he can get a few good results there.

A match that Dan surely has to try to take positives out of - his ability to push (and beat) top 150 players is very promising.

A contest like this will drive home the pivotal effect of one or two points during a top/middle-end professional match, managing to get just one more of his opponents serves back in either of the TBs might have won Dan the match.

A good fight from Dan, nice to see he has grit in his belly! Unlucky..
