Ah well. A great week for Neil though, on his way up.

A great week for Neil, comfirming he did lose 6-2 6-4 in the final but still such a jump for him, good effort.

Better news in the doubles final, where top seeds by one ranking place Eaton/Fischer came out on top over the foreign 2nd seeds 7-5 3-6 10-6!! A good win and good for Chris's confidence after a bit of a weak singles performance.

Hopefully Chris and Neil can push off from this week intonext week showing good form.

Shame for Neil not be able to take the title, but Fischer was probably that class above in the end and was always likely to win the title here. Now he's inside the top 200, let's hope he stops bothering with the GB futures events as he seems to win most of them.
