That must have been his best tournament, he beat Davydenko (future world no 3), Kuerten (former world no.1), Grosjean (world no.2 just a year previous), Federer (reigning Wimbledon champ), Roddick (world no.1 and US Open champ)
I think that Goodall best ranking win was over Benedict Dorsch (131) this year 7-6 6-4.
Whereas his best win is probably when he beat, in the final qualifying round at the US Open Michael Llodra in 3 tight sets: 3-6 7-6 7-6. I think that because it was a final qualifying round of a Grand Slam not on home turf and it being so close and how he got into the main draw is very good.

Actually Josh's best ranking victory came in 2004, his 1st year on the tour when he beat World No. 106 Giles Elseneer in Bolton. Here are a few other Brits best ranking wins, interestingly most of theirs have been on home soil.
Alex Bogdanovic: Hyung Taik-Lee Wr 47 Queens 2007
Josh Goodall: Giles Elseneer Wr 106 Bolton 2004
James Ward: Victor Crivoi Wr 87 Eastbourne 2009
Chris Eaton: Boris Pashnaki Wr 114 Wimbledon 2008
Jamie Baker: Augustin Calleri Wr 41 Davis Cup, Argentina 2008
Daniel Evans has now upgraded his best career victory by beating 2nd seed Wayne Odensik is straight sets. I believe Odensik is ranked World No 87 and beats his previous best of beating Brendan Evans who was ranked just off the top 100 at the time
does anyone remember miles mclaglan taken boris becker 5 long sets or even barry cowan taken pistol pete 5 sets. wat about wen mark hilton beat albert costa[ i know he hated the grass ]. lee childs beat davydenko .
