I guess the worst of it is it'll be a while before she'll be eligible for tour events again, so she'll not get the experience she needs to tackle that level for yet another season...

erm, that's really quite bad. how many matches has she actually won since her "training block"?

She was W 6 L 7 in the first three months of this year (109 ranking points) before her two month training block and she is W 5 L 6 in the two months since (56 ranking points, though remember that the grass court season tournaments are stronger so you get less points for the same effort), having beaten Elliott, Ditty, O'Brien, Lepchenko and Vaidisova.
