RE: Week 29 - Womens WTA ($220K) - Nurnberger Gastein, Austria Clay

Sarah and partner won 6-4 6-4

They let a two break lead slip in the 2nd set but pulled themselves round to win the last two games.
Next up the top seeds from CZE.

Don't worry Sarah and Nagle knocked out the top seeds last year so let's hope she repeats the trick.

Great win today. smile

They have been awarded a w/o into the SF.

The points from Bad Gastien last went off last week I think (along with the points for winning Felixstowe) so Sarah is only defending points from reaching the QF in Portoroz, I think. She can start moving up the rankings again now as she basically has nothing to defned until the autumn.

Yup points already off, which is why she slipped back down into the 90's.

This will push her right back up again.

Sarah and Sharon lost the first set 6-2 , took an early break in set 2 only to be pegged straight back. having saved 3 break points at 4-4 they have just broken the Czechs to make it 2-6 6-4, so it will be decided by a match tie-break
