L32: Jamie Baker WR 948 v (Q) Sun-Yong Kim (KOR) WR 973

This is the Kim who beat Jamie 6 & 3 in Malaysia last month (and then beat Dr No in 3 sets in the main draw), so this week's result will hopefully say something about Jamie's improving match fitness since then. Both players are well off their career highs - Kim's was 611 in 2006 and Jamie's was 211 of course. Kim is 4-1 against Brits, Chris Eaton being the one who beat him.

Revenge for that semi-final defeat last week would be nice. For the record, Chen, the third seed last week, went on to take the title. Pity Jamie has to face him so early on in the tournament this week. bleh
