How quick are the courts here? [Brendan] Evans was an out and out serve and volleyer when I saw him at Notts so outdoor hard might not be his best surface, I suppose. Still a mighty impressive win from Evo.

There's definitely been a change in Boggo's attitude over the last 6-8 months. He's not there yet, obviously, and he could still do with playing the big points better when he's ahead, but he's certainly not been giving up on matches like he often seemed to before.

Splendid Boggo.Another battling performance from the man. These two must be good for each other, and both into the QFs as I requested. Will they oblige if I ask for them both to reach the SFs?

Well done to Boggo as well.
Interestingly, I've seen Evans play two or three times and he's hardly ever serve/volleyed in those matches, so maybe that's just the tactic he uses on a grass court.
Great win for Boggo as well to come from a break down in the final set and it seems to be the trademark of the new Boggo to be able to win a match when doing things the hard way as all of his last few matches have been a struggle, yet he's managed to come out on top of them.
Looks like it could be Lester Cook in the QF's given that he's taken the first set over Matosevic and that would definately be the preferable quarter final draw as he's done nothing really of note all year. (although I'd like Matosevic to win after meeting him on the train home from Queens)
Let's just hope the injury doesn't flare up and trouble Boggo when he looks to be playing so well again.

Boggo confirmed on ATP live score as having won 6-3 4-6 6-4, Evo 4-6 6-1 6-4.

The match I saw was the final on indoor hard, but maybe he had been doing it all week and just carried it on. It seemed to work for him anyway as he won the tournament.
