nice try Katie against top 50 opposition.

Was up 4-2* in the second, but 64 64 really looked likely. Lucie found her serve again and Katie didn't win a single point on her second serve so it was always likely she'd be broken if she couldn't keep her percentage right up.

Shame as she had points off, but will still be around the 110-115 mark I think.

Good luck and hopefully some decent points in Vigo.

Yes, she's got 30 points coming off, but a 17th best of 14 to replace nearly half of them with. Not a bad attempt, but it looked so promising when she broke at the start!

Yup so should be top 16 seed for US Open qualies which is good.

Hopefully a good run at the 25k next week will be a little boost
