I wonder if she has trouble with fitness (she doesn't look like she would) or if the she plays well but predictably and opponents quickly work her out. Then again, maybe it was just her opponent taking time to wake up. Either way, let's hope this turns put to be 'collapse of the week' - I wouldn't like there to be a worse one!

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I think she looks in great shape, but her backhand is vulnerable, and she seems to try and take everything on the forehand, so it might be fairly easy for some players to exploit that.
The change from when the went off for rain to when they came back suggests that someone in Rodionova's team found something in Georgie's game that Rodionova could exploit, either that or they found some other way to raise her game. Whatever happened the change over was remarkable.
Gutted for Georgie, the bad weather did her no favours but as a Brit she should know a bit about rain :( That is still a terrible loss, especially considering her start and who her next opponent would be.
Katie plays on Monday (Court 1 nb 1630 local time). She has only ever beaten one top 50 player, but it was here last year (Pironkova), so she should have good memories.
Georgie has stayed on to play doubles with Kristina Kucova (SVK). They have the dubious privilege of playing the top seeds Dushevina/Voskoboeva later on Monday.
