A lot of junior tournaments in Africa and Asia provide little in the way of info via internal websites, and the ITF only update every 2 or 3 days.

However I have been able to deduce the R3 results from some oops on an Egyptian website (I don't know if Jack's score is a retirement or a typo - probably the latter as Jack played doubles on the following day):

R3

(8) James Marsalek (GBR) d. (9) Sai Kartik Nakireddi (IND) 6-1 6-3
(11) Christopher Simpson (GBR) d. (5) Pavel Liska (CZE) 6-3 7-5
(7) Jiri Vesely (CZE) d. (10) Jack Carpenter (GBR) ?3-6 7-6(3) 3-3
(14) Tom Allen (GBR) d. Vladimir Molkanov (RUS) 6-4 6-4

QF

Moos Sporken (NED) v (8) James Marsalek (GBR)
(16) Sami Ghorbel (TUN) v (11) Christopher Simpson (GBR)
(6) Sumeet Shinde (IND) v (14) Tom Allen (GBR)

The good news is that we got 3 semi-finalists - the bad news is that the one non-Brit won

QF

(8) James Marsalek (GBR) d. Moos Sporken (NED) 5-7 6-3 6-2
(11) Christopher Simpson (GBR) d. (16) Sami Ghorbel (TUN) 7-6(5) 6-2
(14) Tom Allen (GBR) d. (6) Sumeet Shinde (IND) 6-3 6-2

SF

(8) James Marsalek (GBR) d. (11) Christopher Simpson (GBR) 6-1 6-3
(7) Jiri Vesely (CZE) d. (14) Tom Allen (GBR) 7-6(6) 6-1

Final

(7) Jiri Vesely (CZE) d. (8) James Marsalek (GBR) 6-2 7-5

Doubles Semifinals
(8) Allen/Simpson (GBR) d. Nakireddy / Saai (IND) 6-3 3-6 [10-8]
(5) Triki (TUN) / Vesely (CZE) d. (4) Carpenter / Marsalek (GBR) 6-3 6-0

Final

(5) Triki (TUN) / Vesely (CZE) d. (8) Allen/Simpson (GBR) 6-3 2-6 [10-5]

Chris should move into the top 200 as a result

Still great tournament from the guys. Time for Marselek to step up, too many average results for too long - now that less of the 1991 guys are playing his chances improve

There's a Grade 2 here next week, with Gabb and Hewitt playing the Euros i guess James will play in that
