RE: Week 28 - Futures F5 ($15K) - GyeongSan, Korea

yes so glad that Jamie has won three matches in a row I think he would have been inside top 150 by now if he had not had such a bad spell of injuries, he is one British player who has guts and I wish him well

SF: Jamie Baker WR 955 lost to (3) Ti Chen (TPE) WR 383 by 2 & 2 cry

Jamie is clearly still a long way off his best if he can lose 2 & 2 to WR 383 (though Chen hasa career high of 255) and that must be very frustrating for him, but at least he seems to be giving it everything (must be to go off on this tour of Asia) and making progress - stringing three wins together in a row this week suggests his stamina is improving and has hopefully given him a good confidence boost.

Roll on Korea F6! smile.gif

Not surprising to see him lose to Chen who is a solid player and it shows that Jamie still isn't back to his best, but this has been an encouraging week.

Hope he can build on it next week and get at least one more ranking point.
