Week 28 - Futures F5 ($15K) - GyeongSan, Korea

L32: Jamie Baker WR 982 v Young-Jun Kim (KOR) WR 602

Not again! cry Jamie moves Korea only to draw the player who beat him in Malaysia a couple of weeks ago 3-6 7-6(7) 6-0. Looking on the bright side, it seems clear that he should have won that match (no idea what happened in the 3rd set), so hopefully he can put things right this time.

Great to see Jamie getting back amongst the wins and he gets revenge for his loss the other week.

News gets better for him as instead of facing the 2nd seed in round two, he'll face Mark McCook, ranked 895, who won 6-0 ret. Has a great shot at the quarter finals now.

Jamie certainly deserves the fates being on his side for once smile.gif - he will play McCook on Thursday (they are the only players in the singles or doubles main draws who are not from Korea, Japan or Taiwan!), but he will be on court with him tomorrow because they are the no. 4 seeds in the doubles, taking on home pairing Choi & Chung.

Not unusual for two people due to play each other at singles.

Jamie won 7-5 6-0 :).

He faces AN, Jae-Sung (KOR) WR543, the 8th seed in last 8. Good to see him getting back to back wins.

Excluding a qualifying draw a few weeks ago i think it was last November, and before that last March! I would love to see him back up to where he was 2/3 years ago around 200 or higher...

Well done to Jame for the win and he looks to be getting back into some kind of form. Has a decent shot of making the semi finals here which would be great news for him after all his troubles.

The Korean tennis association has an extensive site, but putting it into Babelfish reveals that the most recent news they have from Korea itself is about their DC win over China.

"The South Korean tennis national team also became once one. With the colleague the fans of director and the fatherland all to open the way which is the possibility becoming one. Recently again as cherishes the long-cherished desire which is a world group advance in the breast also the once Korean tennis stands up. South Korean pie." Quite!

In other news:

- "Tennis poster one walks in the household and puts, the [cyo] [Mountain around the capital [phyu] department [su] interests before 8 rivers falls and the forecast which falls"
- "Gas [khey] and doping no suspicion proof" (I understand that one! smile.gif)

I'm also having trouble working out which option to go for in this poll:

"Q: The Korean representative team from the Davis cup 3 won China to at 2. Again the Davis cup representative team where suspicious looking [thayk] falls into future to pass this region pre-election the aim which does to rise to the world group came to leave. Will do to do a representative team composition and the operation how."

Option 1: Passes by the before selecting and to hang the Great Absolute mark in the players who are capability and nature

Option 2: The foreign nation player faces each other as to consider an international conference experience and a ranking, must select

Option 3: Like Thailand or China is a cold night to do to have the plan which is long-term to select expectation weeks
