Mmmmm, Rice has probably had the tougher passage, knocking out the 1st and 5th seeds, but I did pick Josh to win before the start of the MD and he took out the 3rd seed. By that rationale I'll go for Dr No! To be honest I see it as a win/win.

Great to see a couple of young'uns fighting it out for the title - it's good to see some Brits taking advantage of the weaker draw this week before the higher ranked players come back into play at Ilkley again.
Well done to both Josh and David. Shame Neil and Marcus couldn't quite manage to make it a clean sweep here, but a very good week for all concerned, regardless of how weak the draw was!
David's winning score was 6-4 6-4.

Yes (at senior/ITF level anyway)
Dr No only reached his first singles semi last month as a qualifier in Kuala Lumpur and has now reached the QFs or better three times in the last five weeks, having only reached one Futures QF before that, in Zaragoza in March 2008, so he's really made a move this summer and he should be in the top 700 on Monday week having started the year at 906.
Josh seldom fails to get through at least one round (he's the only Brit other than Muzza and Wardy to have scored points in more than 18 tournaments in the laast 12 months) but has only reached one SF before, losing to Bloomers in Sunderland last November but this is the 7th time he has reached QFs or better in his singles career. Today's win will take him into the top 600 and he will overtake Chris Eaton to become GB no. 11 if he wins tomorrow.
