yeh 09 was crap they peacked at 08, i rememeber pro evo 4 with geat fondesss it has totti on the front, i acutally split with a gf because i wanted to stay in and play it.
Full results are up on the LTA website, with wins for Boggo and Goodall today.
Good results for the pair of them and they've not got ideal second round matches, but the fact Fleming took a set off Beck (a good result for him) means that Goodall must have a chance of reaching the next round.
Boggo now faces Peya, who disposed on Stakhovsky in three sets which probably gives him a decent chance of getting through, but is 0-3 against him. Peya hasn't had s great year but has spent most of his time playing ATP qualies, but only has 1 ATP win this year and that was in the first week. Has had good results on grass, but did mamage to lose to Fernando Vicente on it, although how he managed that I don't think we'll ever find out. Whoever wins that match has a very good chance of making the final, and should definately make the semi's.
Decent efforts by Cox and Eaton but they just couldn't get the win in the end. Shame that Eaton couldn't hang on after winning the opening set.

lol it's usually Football Manager which causes relationships to break up...
Naughty me, I forgot to mention that Col lost 6-4 4-6 2-6. He can concentrate on the doubles now.
Goody will get his chance against Beck on CC, 2nd match tomorrow. Col and Ken take their bow also, not before 17.00 & the two Dans are also in combat after Goody's match. Best of luck to all.

Yeh deffo, lost a few gfs over that to, most notably when i guided Notts County to the champions league final, tho at the moment im into call of duty on the xbox.
back to tennis:- Peya i have never rated, even baker beat him at queens.
L16: Boggo vs Alexander Peya (AUT) (the latter dumped out the top seed, Sergiy Stakhovsky, today 5-7 6-3 6-2!) L16: Dan Evans vs (6) Marsel Ilhan (TUR) L16: Goody vs (3) Karol Beck (SVK) (Col pushed him close today)
can't resist a good bit of banter about Pro Evo/Football Manager, but i was never gonna miss your mistake considering it's Boggo's big chance for revenge!
All of the brits should have a chance to get by their next opponents - however, much as I hate to bring it up, Peya's totally comfortable on grass for an Austrian which he showed by beating a hobbled Boggo at Wimbledon in the Davis Cup.
Any news on the doubles front? Summat strange is happening 'cos tomorrow the two Dans are playing Fischer & Nielsen. Have the top-seeded Ukrainians pulled out? Did the Dans play today? They should have taken on the pair from the Netherlands, Koning & Sijsling.

Well done Boggo! He must have a good chance of beating Peya, who really hasn't got going this year. That being said Boggo hasn't got going this year either! I suppose it will hinge on which Boggo turns up.
