Did it never occur to you two that tf334 might have been:
a) getting the scores via a link that had already been posted that was working for them if not for you
or b) getting the scores texted from someone at the tournament (that's not exactly an unusual way to obtain hard to get scores to post on here, even if it's more common with GB events, and there are plenty of Brits in Spain at this time of year, so not impossible)
and/or c) updating this thread via a mobile, hence the very short posts (and a good reason why they might not wanted to have tapped in a whole URL even if they were managing to access it on their mobile somehow)
I have no idea how they were actually getting (or posting) the scores but I'd rather get a few score updates one way or another than risk putting someone off posting scores again by having a go at them. Just a thought ...
actually, i didnt think of any of them, Well Said Steven :p
Shame for them to come so close to the win but just be edged out in the end. Beck and Levinsky are a decent doubles pairing and Beck has been in great singles form this week as well, so perhaps it's not too surprising to see them lose, but having taken the first set and gone into the tiebreak with all the momentum having recovered the break, it's a shame to see them lose another final.
Hopefully they can claim another title somewhere soonish to get over this losing run in finals, but it's another good week for them and they are getting closer to the the top 100 and may just be able to make the cut for the US Open.
Another close one we just missed out on. After winning the 1st set so easily ( or so it seems from the score) I had hoped that this was in the bag for the guys. Not to be, but still another good week and more experience under their belts. Seeded 2 in Manchester, so could be another good run this week.
