L32: James Ward WR 207 v (1) Ivan Navarro (ESP) WR 68

Navarro beat Muller, Gicquel and Pics Ferrer in Rosmalen before going out in the semis to Sluiter then only just lost (12-10 in the 5th) to Hanescu at Wimbledon but lost to Paolo Lorenzi WR 203 in R2 of the Rijeka Challenger on clay last week. Switching to hard courts will make it three surfaces in as many weeks!

Josh Goodall took Navarro to 3 sets in RG qualifying two years ago but Navarro has a 7-3 record against Brits, with Big Arv in 2004, Martin Lee in 2005 and Muzza the only Brits to have beaten him, though this was all long before he broke into the top 100.

A rubbish draw for Wardy, in other words. cry

Good start for Fleming in qualifying and I can't see him having any trouble today against Salas.

Terrible draw for Ward, but hopefully Navarro will have a bad day and give Ward a slight chance. Not expecting much from him with that draw though.

I can't believe that Klein is not getting a ban. Gasquet gets suspended for something that doesn't affect his tennis/anyone else in this world but Klein gets off by paying 10K Euros.
