i checked, slabba was the last DA in Russia at 383! Lexington was 349. Recanti was the toughest of the lot at around 250.
but you have to say i think if there were more hard ct challengers, perhaps an equal to clay, we'd see more of out boys at challenger level and maybe pushing on.

Thank you steven. your 'support' is always appreciated.
Thing is he tells me this info, i stick it on his website (not that anyone actually looks there) so it makes him looks silly as i am often too lazy to go and change it.
anyhow at the moment i am having a 'delete' war with the trolls who log on to the site this time of year, post stuff like 'Boggo ur Sh1te, retire now' then moan about when it gets deleted and say 'why don't you leave up any negative comments'

Perhaps Boggo was planning on playing Recananti but when he saw that it was much stronger than Lexington, and given he was going to the US afterwards anyway, decided he may as well play Lexington.
Penza is a pretty weak challenger so a good chance for Eaton and Slabba to hopefully pick up some points, while Manta is pretty weak as well and Ward should be seeded, so a chance of points for him.
Lexington is a strange list with quite a few decent ranked players and then it just completely drops away, but good to see Evans make the cut as well. Boggo might just make a seeding here which would help him as well.
This is a tough week for me as I live an hour from the ATP event at Indianapolis and maybe 2 1/2 hours from lexington but its typically a busy work week so taking time off is unlikely.
I think he just gets Manchester to earn the points? Could make the cut as it is, too - this year not having points to defend is as good as winning a few rounds in a Futures.
The LTA are totally to be blamed if he doesn't (assuming he hasn't been injured to an extent since Turkey). He has hardly played of late - how can you improve if you're sitting at home? Should have gone to the US for Winnetka and Newport.
