Haha, Australia nearly lost to the Sussex second XI. rofl.gif

It won't be that easy for England, I'm sure, but that was hilarious.

it wasn't our complete 2nd team but we did come very close to beating them. england should just pick the whole sussex team, then i'd support them.

Good, so at least you support a county that I really like right now! smile.gif

I'm really curious as to what put you off from the national team, though? confused.gif

Surely the West Indies were far, far worse "with their attitude when things weren't going for them" when touring England? They played like they didn't care and to top it, their captain was busy making money in South Africa and arrived late and sometime before the second test, said that he didn't think much of tests - hardly inspiring for the team.

It's just their complete and utter arrogance. yes, the aussies are arrogant but they are/were the best team in the world so they kind of have a right to be. to be honest, it's mostly just stuart broad who REALLY annoys me with his arrogance and was very happy to see him throw a few matches away for england in the t20.. they were never like this under vaughan and they were so successful. maybe it's influences of people such as kp, i don't know. but i honestly cannot bring myself to support these ashes even though i have so violently in the past. i just hope that as a neutral the standard is good.
and p.s, it's mostly because i just fancy chris gayle (best batsmen in the world) and dwayne bravo and so my dad cannot call me a glory fan. and i love their dancing.

I'll give you that Chris Gayle is exciting, until he gets out  wink.gif

Fidel Edwards is far more arrogant than Broad, though.

Not a bad start. We could have been in a far better position but I'll take this. And with a bit of luck, we should get to 400+ tomorrow morning.

Anderson's batting is improving fast. He's a brilliant fielder, too.

yeh i can rememeber when anderson was a typical number 11 rabit, but hes showing some decent lower ordr form with the bat.
what you think the line up changes for next test sgould be salmon

id take monty out and put Onions in, still not sure about harmison.

I want Siders instead of Monty, but it'll probably be Onions. I don't mind Onions playing, either.

Feel bad about Panesar going given how he saved this match, but he has been horrible in the last few matches. Broad has another test to improve his position in my eyes - loving his batting, but we need an attack that can take 20 wickets.

yeh i agree on broad salmon, his batting hides the fact that he quite frankly is a young bolwer who averages 36 at test cricket.
Id go

1.Strauss
2.Cook
3.Bropara
4.KP
5.Prior
6Collingwood
7.Flintoff
8.Swann/Rashid
9.Anderson
10.Sidebottom/Bresnan
11.Onions
