QR2 is the FQR here so not a great deal for Matt to do if he wants to get into the main draw! smile.gif

Too bad that they can't get Coxy to fake his age and play Wimbly Juniors. He'll play Felixstowe and Manchester after this.

true Gausdal only has a popualtion of a few hundred people, so ive no idea where the tennis courts are, but reindeers are found futher east, not really massive in that part.

FQR: (q1) Matt Illingworth WR 720 beat Martin Kildahl (NOR) UNR by 3-6 6-1 6-0 smile.gif

L32: Marcus Willis WR 824 v (Q) Ricardo Urzua-Rivera (CHI) WR 962
L32: (Q) Matt Illingworth WR 720 v James Feaver WR 878
L32: (6) Dan Cox WR 627 v (Q) Gilad Ben Zvi (ISR) WR 1829
L32: (Q*) Alex Ward WR 1007 v (2) Fabrice Martin (FRA) WR 443

Not a great draw, with the Wardinator facing the no. 2 seed, the winner of Marcus's match likely to play no. 1 seed Michael Ryderstedt in R2 and the winner of the all-GB match likely to play no. 4 seed Timo Nieminen. However, if Cox wins, he'll play another qualifier.

(*) it says Q on the main draw sheet but he wasn't in qualifying!

The ITF site has been slightly crazy over the last few days with several incorrect links....this one also. Seems to be okay now though.

Good luck to the guys....pray.gif

Ryderstedt was badly beaten in last weeks SF by Mclune so perhaps he is carrying an injury ?

Yes I know, it's been showing the main draw for Norway F1 in Norway F2 since at least Friday, but this does seem to be a new draw today. Still odd that Alex has a (Q) next to him though!

Nice draws in the first two rounds for once! McClune is a bad person to have in your quarter, though, and I would much rather have the second seeded Fabrice Martin or Timo. Still, a good week and finals is quite possible.

On the ATP Challengers page, Norway F2 now links to the main draw for a Challenger in Milan. It gets better every day ...
