Having "retired" last year at ATP Rotterdam, Raemon Sluiter has a chance 18 months on to win his first ATP title!!!
At the age of 31, he's ranked 866 in the world, having reached a couple of futures finals this year and a semi final, but got a wild card in to Rosmalen.
And he's reached the final after beating Daniel Gimeno-Traver, Marcos Baghdatis, Dudi Sela and Ivan Navarro.
He now faces Benjamin Becker in tomorrow's final to claim that elusive first ATP title. He has reached three finals before, all in Holland (Amersfoot, Amsterdam and Rotterdam), in 2000 and then 2003, but lost them all.
It would be an amazing story if he could claim the title tomorrow, and I hope he does it.
Shame for Sluiter to lose the final but still a great week for him and shows that he can still compete if he wants to carry on his comeback.
Becker gets an ATP title after claiming several weak challenger events this year.
Turusnov was the better player today but disappointed that Dancevic couldn't have got the title, especially having backed him at 40/1 to win the title earlier in the week.
