alex has been putting in a lot of hard work and doing a lot of sprint training, as he says though he believes mental and physical is linked so if he can get stronger and not feel so tried late in matches he will feel stronger mentally. really he didn't choke or give up here. lets hope he can carry that form into wimby. with a kind draw maybe he has a chance. makes you think what would he have done if he had Josh's draw for instance.

Wardy had a chance for a MB but dumped a volley on the stretch where he had the whole court to aim for into the net. Frankie then hit a forehand winner up the line but Wardy got the MB break back with a return winner.

Wardy *4-5 in the TB.

Wardy had a two chances to put a volley away at 6-6, falied, and Frankie passed him and then at *6-7 had the easiest of easy forehands but but sent it long.

First set Dancevic 7-6(6).

falling apart here as wardy goes a double beak down. they have been close games but i'd be surprised now if thuis is anything other than straight sets.
