Another match to bemoan the fact that our lads get into a winning position and just cannot make the winning post.cry2.jpg Still against the 3rd seeds with their ranking we shouldn't be too hard on them. Hope they have learned another valuable lesson and gained from the experience. I look forward to seeing what they can do at W.

even though i am a little disappointed, i have to remember it is only their 2nd ever atp tournament together and to compete so well with very, very experienced guys is mightily impressive and the transition they have made from futures champions to tour quarter finalists in this short space of time is astounding.

Not the best of performances by Flemski today. They never really got into the match and it was with a bit of luck that they got as close to winning as they did.

Got the minibreak back in the second set tiebreak on a crazy point where at some point all four players slipped over. Played a very good point to get the minibreak which was finished off by a great volley from Fleming and then on set point, got really lucky when Skupski's unmissable volley hit the top of the net and bounced dead.

Another net cord gave them the minibreak in the MTB, but it was two excellent returns from Ullyett on both occasions that got the break back that Flemski could do nothing with, and then from 8-7 had no chance to get the minibreak back with two big serves from their opponents.

It was a match that they never really looked like winning as S/U seemed to have the better shots and the better touch around the court. But it's good to see that on an off-day for Flemski they can still push a top player to a MTB, although their serves were what kept them in the match for as long as they did.

Didn't see J + J in the MTB as I was on centre court at the time watching Wozniaki vs. Stosur and on centre court you cannot hear clearly what the announcements for courts are. So when I heard names mentioned to go to court three, I presumed it was the remaining womens doubles match that was scheduled there and had had the names on the scoreboard for ages...unfortunately it was J and J's match instead.
