Darn, a quick shoot-out tomorrow - I hope they are quick starters.

I love being proved wrong when I've felt overly pessimistic! biggrin Well done, Col & Ken, on reaching the QF of only your second ATP Tour event:  a minimum of 20 points & 3,440 euros in the bag.  Good luck J & J in the MTB tomorrow (???) against the third seeds.  Would love to see you back on the victory trail... pray.gif

Play in the J and J match was suspended I think because the court was slippy. Certainly Erlich slipped on the final point in the tiebreak trying to chase back a lob. It was Soares and Ullyett who wanted to come off to begin with and then I guess they managed to convince J and J or the umpire it wasn't safe.

They had one match point in the TB at 5-6 but Ullyett hit two good volleys after a good return from Jamie.

Flemski were really good again. I was sat next to their coach, Neil Skupski (I think it was him) and someone else who I couldn't work out who it was for the match and they were delighted with the performance.

Never got into the second set at all but they hit some great returns in the MTB and almost managed to choke the big lead away but survived in the end. Fleming's volley at 9-8 just managed to make it over the net which took Melo and Sa out of the point really and gave Fleming an easy putaway to finish. Skupski was the best player on the court for large parts of the match.
