Lol. Definetly, what a chance to get a first tour win just before a big wimbledon for him. He has got to win, as this would will really knock his confidence losing to such a low player who lost to Boggo at Notts 6 and 2 at a big home event. He could really push on if he were to win with a second round encounter with an out of form Ljubicic whos speed is awful on a grass court. Come on Josh, straight sets, next round please. Good luck to the others, also great chances of 2nd rounds. I have a feeling of a good day tommorow members of the board.

Ljubicic wasn't at his best today but did enough to get the win in the end. His serve wasn't as good as it has been in the past and his movement could do with a bit of work, but his backhand was working well. Good to see someone try and serve/volley a bit on the grass as well, although it does help if you actually can get the volley over the net.
I'd be surprised if Josh could beat Ljubicic (and certainly wouldn't expect him to get near a set of him) though.
I hope there are points for qualifying cos otherwise why would anyone play qualifying when they can get a point for a win a futures or challenger match... :P
