Ross Hutchins & Stephen Huss are the 8th seeds and have been given a bye into R2 where they will face either Julien Benneteau & Michael Llodra (FRA) or Ivan Ljubicic & Marin Cilic (CRO).
Jamie Murray begins his new grass court partnership with Jonathan Erlich (ISR) and they have a first round clash with Leos Friedl & David Skoch (CZE), who knocked Jamie out of the French Open.
Andy is also giving doubles a bash with Lleyton Hewitt (AUS) and they face Rajeev Ram & Andy Roddick (USA). Two players who know the courts of Queens very well there.
Colin Fleming & Ken Skupski have a wild card and they face Horia Tecau & Andrei Pavel (ROU).
The other wild card went to Ljubicic & Cilic, which I am sure is of great value to the competition and will bring in increased revenue because of all the fans flocking to see them play. Switching from sarcasm, this is even worse than given wild cards to Nadal & Hood and Andy & Vallverdu last year and a real kick in the teeth to someone like James Auckland who has had some really great results this year.
Edited to correct spelling of Friedl's first name out of courtesy to the player.

I couldn't agree more! If Josh didn't fancy the idea of teaming up with him again this week, surely he could've found another willing partner, had he been offered the opportunity? But who knows what goes on in what passes for minds in TPTB at the LTA? After all, we're only the fans who fork out the entrance money to watch the players...
The lack of WCs for Aucks and Goodall must be some kind of sick joke...is it actually true? i mean i can understand if it was like Safin and Nadal or something, but Cilic and Looby Loo? Hardly box office, is it?
Cilic and Ljubicic missed the cut by just one spot, although had they entered in the first place rather than doing the on-site cut, they'd have made it easily.
Not quite sure what they bring to the event that say Auckland and Goodall couldn't - surely no-one is going to go just to see them, while with the Nadal and Murray WC's in the past, may have been the case, making this decision crazy.
Good to see Fleming and Skupski get a WC and hopefully they can take advantage of it this week, and even though Pavel and Tecau isn't the best of draws, it's a winnable match for them.
I shall be very annoyed if I see another Gonzo moment here, i.e. one of the singles players getting a virus which causes him to pull out of the doubles, which then clears up overnight enabling him to take part in a singles match. Very disappointed for Aucks. The match between him/ Goody and Col/Ken at Nottingham was very close. Perhaps Rog - the Dodge - Draper, who was there, with his name emblazoned on his sweatshirt top, had decided whoever got the furthest in the doubles would get the WC?
