Excellent read F-D - I, for one, really appreciate the effort. On a non-Brit note, how would you describe Matosevic's playing style? I've followed his progress for no apparent reason for a few months now.

Thanks also to The Knight and Josh for the reports/videos. Both very eloquent and well written smile

Didn't get to see a lot of him playing as his first match was on the non-existant courts and only got to his second round match at about 2-2/3-3 in the second set.

He seemed to have a typical kind of game really - reasonably big serve, good groundstrokes (forehand was probably the better shot) and hit a couple of decent volleys when he did get to the net. Didn't really see enough of him playing to get a better idea though, but he seemed a nice enough bloke when I spoke to him and he felt he was playing well and had a good chance of qualifying for Wimbledon if he got a decent draw.

Thanks for the entertaining and interesting report FD, it sounds like both Alexes in particular put up a good fight.

Order of play for tomorrow is out...and it's unbelievably laughable.

Someone Josh has ended up on Court 1 and thus his match won't be televised...you sometimes have to wonder whether anyone wants the British players to be promoted in anyway.

OOP for Centre Court is:

Lopez vs. Kendrick
Hewitt vs. Schwank
Ward vs. Baghdatis
Tipsarevic vs. Mahut
Hewitt/Murray vs. Ram/Roddick.

I get why Hewitt is on the show court because he's still a big name and a former champion, but Lopez vs. Kendrick and Tipsarevic vs. Mahut???

Lol I wasnt challenging the awesome pool of knowledge within this site aww

I just thought perhaps there was a possibility they had improved their facilities or something, totally crazy!! After the whole afternoon of tennis thats being aired on ES I had my hopes on seeing them both play, but thankfully Wards match should be on which is good news at least. May have to wait til Davis Cup to be able to watch Josh lol, sucks...

well his match at wimby will probably be televised (interactive or website). don't bbc have cameras on almost all courts?

but seems we are running out of DC players!

The BBC have the capability to cover court one, but recent history suggests that they will cover Centre Court regardless of what match is on the courts.

I think at Wimbledon there are camera's on about 7 or 8 courts, so his match at Wimbledon will definately be covered somewhere.

That CC line-up is a joke. I was quite unhappy that I was going to be away next week and couldn't spend my usual Monday and Tuesday at Queen's, but it's beginning to look like I won't be missing much!
