How would you rank the top GB girls on grass?

Just  thought I would gather people's views on this subject. Using current form I would rank them as follows:
1. Anne
2. Mel
3. Bally
4. Cav
5. Katie
6. Laura
7. Stoopy
8. Naomi B
9. Jade
10. Jocelyn/Tara

Have they really had much recent play on grass that one can really rank currrent form on grass ?

I admit I haven't been following enough to know and maybe they have had more recent grass court play than I'm imagining.

Anne likes grass even less than she likes clay.

Its her worst surface by miles

Amanda Elliott can be higher...she qualified for Birmingham last year, but just shows no consistancy. For me its:

1. Mel (tho after this week Im dissapointed)
2. Cavaday
3. Bally

As for the rest its hard to say. I think Broady could do well with her serve, and I think Laura and Tara have a lot of potential to succeed on the grass in future. Also, Rae is worth looking out for, she is very impressive for her age, and her height cud give her a great serve with some more work :P

Not really, her game is definatly more suited to grass IMO. Definatly before she wasn't great but nowadays shes much more aggresive and confident on grass, IMO.

Agreed, Murray_2k9. I think its kinda funny that we have 3 really good grasscourters considering there aren't even many grasscourts in england anyway...

And what do you mean, by age? LOL.

By age, I mean at 17 she was ranked 556, not far from the top 500. She might be 18 now, so far enough its not exactly impressive, but considering she has missed so much time with her fracture (?) I think she could have gone much higher. Plus she has comfortably beaten the likes of Broady and Khan in straights on grass.

I think if you also include the fact that she hadnt benefitted from any WCs on the grass court events, and managed to push the likes of Kraijek then she has actually been really impressive. I expect her to start making the climb quickly now she is back, but draws like this and last weeks arent doing her any favours.

Overall Bally has had the best results on grass but shes been playing on it for longer.
3rd round wimbleodn plus 2 more 2nd rounds.

qualified for eastbounre. won a MD match in wimbledon.

I'd go for

1.Bally
2.Mel
3.Anne
4.Cav
5.Katie

no offecne but the other british girls haven't come anywhere near close to the others.

Laura i dont count yet as she has only played juniors on grass.

I agree with Tutu, but go further and say she's probably better on any surface than Bally too now.

Nah, I get that, I was talking about the person who said "By age: laura". She won junor wimbledon, not senior wimbledon. Most of the Juniors dont even know how to play on grass at that age.
