Excellent stuff, and the no. 1 seed Alcaide went out today, so the players left in the top quarter are Myles WR 749, Giustino WR 1229 (who beat an unranked qualifier today after being bagelled in the 1st set), Mbarek UNR (CH 1377 in 2007, won a tight match between two WCs today) and Piro WR 1263 (CH 940 in 2008) who saw off Alcaide today.

The most likely barrier to a SF place is former world junior no. 4 Piro, one of the few players to have double-bagelled Robert Dee but who more worryingly beat Myles 2 & 3 in Terrasa last year. In juniors, Piro was 4-0 against Dan Cox, 1-1 against Evo, 1-0 against Josh Milton and 1-1 against Dr No.
