Broken again for 0-3. Can't see this coming back, she's been struggling on serve all match now.

Sarah :(

Mel this is hideous. I thought she might lose to Kraijeck/Wikmayer in the semis but never for a moment thought she'd get gubbed by Voegle

Argh, just had 40-0 on serve at 1-5 then went to MP before Mel finally sealed it. Just hope no injury...

big shock that one - with QF from Birmingham coming off, she needs something very special indeed over the next couple of weeks

Yes, we'll have to hope for some decent wins and a good Wimbledon draw, or else she's going to fall back a long way. It did sound like some improvements had been made though, and anyone can lose to anyone on a given day; perhaps it's just a lack of match practice - Voegele's had a good year. It was a risk to take the time off, and to judge on the basis of one tournament would be foolish, but it's very disappointing given that this is the only ITF all year on her favourite surface...

Jade played a really good match against Wickmayer. Lots of very close games, long deuces and tough rallies, she fought for everything and I love that about her. Wickmayer was always going to be tough and her groundstrokes were so powerful and precise, Jade was being moved from one side to the other. She coped very well under pressure including games where she had to save break points.

Top reporting Tom I love that about Jade as well I saw her play Wozniacki in the juniors a few years back although she lost 2 & 2 she fought and fought and never stopped battling.

Lets hope her recent run of good form continues and her ranking carries on upwards..
