In case SC's not looking at thewomen's thread, does Helki happen to know what happened to Mel halfway through that second set? It's been car crash live score since then ...

You can't see what's happening on centre court from the outside courts. You can basically only watch two courts at a time, unless you stand up at the back of centre and you may be able to attempt to watch all five!!

No, she went for a wander to check on progress in the other matches after Josh's had finished, then decided to watch Chris.  I haven't been following the women's thread, other than to report the outcome of Sarah Borwell's doubles QF, but I have had the bet365 live score open since the start of play & it certainly didn't look good for Mel whenever I checked that. cry

*  Apparently, the Belgian top seed in the women's singles is another grunter... hmm
