Cox is hanging on in here, but you get the feeling that Grosjean is eventually going to get the break.

not a totally disrespectful score from Coxy, hopefully an eye opener for him, and something he can build on at queens Q (assuming he will get a WC there)

Shame for Cox that he lost, but Grosjean has a lot of experience on the grass and is a very good player on his day, and it looks as if he's back to something like his best form, which is encouraging to see at least.

Cox can built on this experience at Queens where he's probably not going to face someone as good as Grosjean, while no-one can really begrudge Grosjean the chance of a comeback (although it would have been better not to be against a British player)

Boggo left to save the day for the Brits, but it really would be a disaster if he didn't beat Ito.

still no news on boggo, lets hope he does win, but i'm not 100% sure, Ito has had some decent results, and came through qualies easily enough, i think sometimes getting qualies can help on a speedy surface like grass to get adjusted before the main draw, Boggo trained on it b4 hand of course but his last competitive match on the surface was vs Peya......

Well done to Boggo for getting the win and coming through that tight looking first set, which probably ended up deciding the match.

Good to see him win his first match on grass and hopefully he can go further, although with it likely to be Dancevic in the next round, it may be tough for him to get any further, but with Dancevic struggling this year, he could get the win.

Would be interesting if Giovanni Lapentti could beat Dancevic and give Boggo a chance at playing him on grass given what has happened before when Lapentti has played British players on a grass court... could Boggo get revenge for Arvind Parmar for that infamous DC loss?

Alex Bogdanovic (GBR) bt Tatsuma Ito (JPN) [Q] 7-6(6) 6-2
"I'm happy to get through my first match on grass, my serve worked pretty well today. My next round is going to be tough but I'm trying to get as many matches on grass before heading to the big one, Wimbledon."

Sebastien Grosjean (FRA) bt Dan Cox (GBR) [WC] 6-1 6-3
"I'm really disappointed with the way I played, I didn't play the way I wanted to today. I got off to a really bad start, I was up in my first service game and ended up dropping serve and it went downhill from there. He might have been out injured but a player of his ability doesn't forget everything he knows overnight. He is still an amazing player and he still moves expeptionally well. He took the ball early and I wasn't able to get any rhythm or put any pressure on him," said Dan.

Jamie Delgado (GBR) & Jonny Marray (GBR) [WC] bt Brydan Klein (AUS) & Marinko Matosevic (AUS) [Q] 4-6 6-4 [10-7]
"We've only been playing together this year and we've lost a few close matches so it's really great to come through that one and get into the next round. The wildcard this week has given us a chance to get onto the grass and we're just happy to be playing," said Jamie.

Jamie Murray (GBR) & Gilles Muller (LUX) bt Robert Kendrick (USA) & Jesse Levine (USA) 7-6(6) 6-4
