Obviously all will change when wild cards announced for Wimbledon. Not sure if Ireland event is on or not as listed on ATP but not ITF.

Sussex Radio had a laughable story on the way home saying Murray could be playing Eastbourne.
Spoke to tournament director who helpfully explained that they allocate wild cards at the last minute and if he asks for one they will give it to him!!

so i guess after the Wimby WC's have been announced Ward Evans and Josh would be the likely bets for WC's here, with Boggo going into the qualies. i guess with the others than maybe dont make the Wimby qualies, like possibly fleming/marray depending on the play off.

Its a shame eaton has to go through qualifying as this means he misses a grass court tournament no.gif which isnt good for him at all. I think that he can get the results the lta are looking for when giving out wildcards on this surface. With his game I think that he should be given a wildcard for all the main grass tournaments as i think hes the best Britain has on grass if he plays his normal game. Maybe if not all at least one.
He has successfuly not been given a shot at an atp tournament main draw this year where he will obviously play his best tennis. With all the press he got last year its wrong for the lta to leave him out i believe. But in the end its their decision and hes got nothing.
Also, i think a main draw wildcard should be given out if they show they can win matches on the surface the past year. (Wimbledon for Chris)
Could he still play qualifying at Eastbourne this week if Wimbledon quals are Monday??
