This event is as strong as many Grade As coming just before the French Open, and there has been a terrific result today for Oliver Golding, who has come through qualifying and claimed a first win at this level over a top 100 player. His reward is a crack at the world number 6

Sadly Hannah James has again withdrawn late, so must be a doubt for Paris.

A good effort against a top 10 Bollettieri student, and the points gained here should see Olly move to just inside 200
