RE: Weeks 21-22 - French Open Main Draw

Azarenka really had Safinas number back there!

Soderling :o If somebody had asked me whether I wanted to bet Murray v Soderling would be a GS SF I would have laughed in their face. We are a few hours away from that possibility being a very real fact, lmaooo. Crazy FO.

Imagine if someone at the start of the tournament had said it would be Soderling vs. Gonzalez and Robredo vs. Monfils in the semi finals... it's not beyond the realms of possibility that it could happen. (although I'd be surprised if one of Federer/Murray didn't make it, if not both, while Del Potro should beat Robredo and Davydenko is capable of making the comeback)

It has been nice to have a crazy slam for the first time in a long time - it makes a change from 3/4 of the top 4 making the semi's, and it could be happening in the women's event as well, with one of Stosur/Cirstea and Sharapova/Cibulkova making the semi's, while Azarenka could upset Safina (not looking likely now) while Serena could make the semi's as well having not won a single match on clay this year (although Kuzzie will win that unless she chokes.... which with her is possible)

It's nice of the women to get their match over and done with at about the time I have a shorthand exam, so will have to record the Murray match!
