I presume that joining Milton and Feaver in the MD are Willis and Smethurst (SE) ?

(The No 1 seed in the QD was one place below Marcus and Smethurst was unable to play Qualies here due to playing his SF in Newcastle).

I've been to Romania. Brasov, the second city - beautiful. biggrin.gif

Also went to "dracula's castle". Very historic. smile.gif

Poor old Marcus Willis really has drawn the short straw, so to speak, in Pitesti:  not only does he play the top seed in the first round of the singles, but he & Dan S (WR2313!) also face the top seeds, that well-known Greek, Alexander Jakupovic, & Bogdan-Victor Leonte (ROU) (WR728), in the first round of the bloody doubles! hmm 

James Feaver has teamed up with an unknown (to me) Aussie, Joshua Crowe, & the pair (WR2683) appears to have a better chance of success against the unranked Greeks, Charalampos (I believe the combination of "m" & "p" iin Greek s pronounced as a "b", so that would come out as something like "Haralabos"! wink ) Kapogiannis & Konstantinos Mikos.

And so it proved:  Dan & Marcus lost by 6-7(4) 4-6 ( cry ), while James & Josh triumphed by 3 & 4 ( smile ).  They will face the Romanian third seeds, Marius Copil & Petru-Alexandru Luncanu (WR1107), in the QF. hmm
