Rice's defeat isn't too bad, but Slabba's defeat is an absolutely dire result. Jaziri is nothing special, so to lose to him is just a dreadful result. Nothing has gone right for him this season at all.
Yes, since winning 4 matches to reach Q+L16 in New Caledonia, Slabba's record (starting with the loss to Boggo) is W 3 L 12, all three wins coming against players outside the top 600 and nine of the twelve losses coming against players ranked more than 100 places below him.
I've suggested before that Slabba may be a bit over-ranked, but he's better than this, surely?

i agree steven slabba is a prime example of a over ranked player, i mean when he gained 24 points for winning a nigeria futres title where the seeds were worse than a 10k fututees. he is a 500 steady player thats it, if he serves well on his day he can be good, but hes never going to be top 150.
Oh dear. I assume he'll play qualifying in Nottingham, maybe getting back on the grass will help him turn things around a bit - it needs some drastic change, probably more in his mind than in any other way.
