FI: Morgan Phillips WR 1271 lost to (4) Andrea Arnaboldi (ITA) WR 363 by 7-6(7) 6-3 cry

A pity, but a very close 1st set and an excellent week for Morgan.

It is over & unfortunately, Arnaboldi won 7-6(7) 6-3. cry  Still, Morgan seems to have had a good go.

Shame he couldn't have managed to take that tight first set as that could have been a turning point in the match, but as it is, a great week for Morgan anyway and one that he has been threatening to produce all year.

A few more weeks with performances like this and he'll be climbing the rankings easily and get him up to where he rightfully should be in the rankings.

That was close! Shame he couldn't quite manage to take the title, but a good week for him to build on and it looks as though his injury is well and truly behind him. Some decent scalps taken along the way.
