Terrific result from the guys. To think just a few weeks back they couldn't get into a masters event playing together and now this. I wonder how well they could do together at Wimbledon.
Hopefully the non seeds are the easier option in the QFs though I'm not convined by that! Part of me is a little disappointed as well that it's not the poles as a win against them for Hutch would be fantastic going into the DC!!

So, 'tis Potty & Mardy in the QF. With a bit of luck Potty will have one eye on his progress in the singles. Fish is out of those but he took Robredo to three sets so maybe he's tired & achy. Whatever the outcome they've done well to get this far, seem to be gelling nicely.
This is on tomorrow, court 5, in the afternoon after another doubles and with a suitable rest for Potty to recover from his singles match.

The preceding doubles match on Court 5, López & Ramírez vs (2) Nestor & Zimonjic, has just got under way, while Stan the Man is doing his damndest to keep Potty occupied on Stadium 3: 6-4 4-6 2-1* after 2:12:48... H & H may not get on court for quite a while after the other doubles finishes!
Potty finally wrapped up the match by taking the third set 6-4 - but it took him just under three hours to do it...! Meanwhile, back on Court 5, N & Z lead 6-3 4-4*. Potty will, of course, be playing Andy in one of the singles quarter-finals tomorrow...
