Going with serve in the second set. One break of serve so far in the whole match, both teams looking secure on their service games. Just another break from H&H would do it.

They traded breaks at the start of the second set.

Two break points for H&H...one saved..but not the second and H&H will serve for the match at *6-5.

Did he do it all by himself? wink Know what you mean, though. The Poles or Potty & Fish next.

That was easier than I expected! biggrin  Well done, boys. thumbsup.gif

Interestingly, as it's in the other quarter of their half of the draw, Marcel Granollers & Tommy R have just seen off the 7th seeds, Max M & Andy Ram, by 5-7 6-2 [14-12]! wink

Did Hutch and Huss just beat Bhupathi and Knowles or am I dreaming again?! smile.gif

That should get Ross into the top 30 ... and just a couple of points away from Shaggy's career high - beating that would make him the highest ranked Brit in doubles for quite a while!

he will get 180 points which will take him up to roughly 28, just 1 behind jamie's CH.

Ross would only gain 142 points though as he would have to lose his 18th countable which is 38. Another win would see him gain 180 further points and see him knocking on the door to join the big boys.

Great win for the boys, and they seem to have Bhupathi and Knowles figured out, and another QF for Ross in a 1000 series event this season seems to be suggesting that he getting towards the top level of doubles play.

Hopefully they can get another win in the QFs to reach the semi's, and they are getting to the point where sooner or later their rankings will be good enough to enter all the 1000 series events, although they will need a decent run in the French to defend those points.

I presume they will have done enough to be seeded for Wimbledon as well, which should see them into the 3rd round at least.

Where they managed to waste 4 match points in the MTB - although considering Robredo has won 13 tiebreaks in a row in singles, it's not surprising he claimed a MTB win.
