Very good win for the pair, and even though they had a nice draw, they've not been at their best on the clay this season, so any win is a good result for them.

Not expecting much out of Bhupathi and Knowles, but hopefully they can give them a good match.

I had to go out to a meeting just after they lost the first set & expected the worst when I returned to my desk.  I, too, am pleased - not to mention relieved - that they won!   Am I correct in thinking that this is their first Masters 1000 tournament together?  Good to see them competing at this level.   Their second-round match is a step up in class, but even if they do crash out, they've bagged 90 points for getting there.

 

Woo - should be around to follow that one.

Maybe first 1000 level event but they have played at AO, Wimbledon and reached last 16 of last years French - so clearly not overawed at this level.

Will be tough but you never know. And they could do with a good run before some points start dropping off.

H&H beat Mark & Hesh in the first round of Roland Garros last year if I remember rightly so there is hope for this.
