Eaton and Groth took out the 4th seeds 6-3, 7-6(4). Very good result.

Chris & Sam will face Kyu Tae Im & Danai Udomchoke (KOR/THA) in the QF. Fingers crossed...

That match being last on CC tomorrow, with his singles having taken place earlier on C1, a busy day ahead for Chris. If Josh can do it...

No seeds left in  Chris' half of the doubles draw.smile Pless & Qureshi (DEN/PAK, 2) losing to the Japanese pair, Iwami & Matsui.

Consolation for the singles defeat:  they won 6-3 2-6 [10-7] & will face the unseeded Japanese pair, Tasuku Iwami & Toshihide Matsui (I kid you not! biggrin ), in the semi-final! smile

Disappointing loss for Eaton to be honest as I thought he'd get a lot closer than he did, but Kavcic is a lot higher ranked and I suppose that told in the end.

It's a few more points for Eaton though which will do I guess.
