Great to see Ward win a challenger title, especially on clay, and hopefully that will secure his WC to Queens and Wimbledon.

Nole leads 5-4* in the TB having had a mini-break...

I've asked the person in Sarasota who replied to my email last night to pass on our congratulations to Wardy if he speaks to him. It would be nice for James to know that some Brits other than his family and friends have noticed ...

******* hell how did Rafa manage to do that?!!!

Nole leads 7-6* another great rally... just watching these two go at it just emphasises just how far Murray has to go to be a contender on the clay courts.

What's really struck me about James the last couple of days is the way he's got into really tight situations where sadly GB players can usually be virtually guaranteed to crack and he's the one who's stayed strong and come through. So impressed. Hopefully this last few weeks will do wonders for his confidence at just the right time.

Rafa's level of determination not to lose is beyond belief.
